Sue Chan is an esteemed culinary entrepreneur and founder of Suchan, a premier Malaysian brand renowned since 1995 for high-quality confectioneries and signature tiramisu. Backed by over 30 years of hospitality experience, Sue transitioned a passion for baking into a multi-channel enterprise spanning retail, e-commerce, international franchising, and boutique manufacturing.
Combining artisanal craftsmanship with rigorous commercial standards, Sue evolved Suchan into a boutique food manufacturing operation. Her recent R&D accomplishments include formulating artisan sourdough breads using cultivated live starters, developing functional keto-friendly baked goods, and stabilizing premium Musang King durian products for targeted international distribution and export to China and Hong Kong.
Demonstrating strict adherence to food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, Sue secured MeSTI accreditation and MyFood Tag registration from the Ministry of Health Malaysia. A published author of two recognized cookbooks, her achievements in product innovation and industry leadership have been recognized with numerous honors, including the Most Innovative Women Entrepreneurs of Malaysia Award (2004) and the Entrepreneur Personality Platinum Award (2003/2004).
